  12.   SCREEN BANNER uses the standard

  14. interrupt routine to scroll a message
  15.  
  16. banner across the screen while other
  17.  
  18. programs run unaffected.  If you
  19.  
  20. installed SCREEN BANNER in your own
  21.  
  22. program, for example, you could
  23.  
  24. continuously display instructions
  25.  
  26. while the program runs.
  27.  
  28.  
  29.   When you run SCREEN BANNER, you will
  30.  
  31. be asked to enter your message.  This
  32.  
  33. message can be up to 255 characters
  34.  
  35. long.  (It's a good idea to spread out
  36.  
  37. your characters.)

  40.   After you enter your message, you
  41.  
  42. will see it scroll beneath the screen.

  44. Above the banner you will see commands
  45.  
  46. that allow you to change colors or

  48. the banner's message.  You can now

  50. "new" the BASIC without affecting the

  52. banner.
